Privacy Notice

This notice describes the information that may be handled when someone uses Madison Parish Released Inmates, how that information supports the service, and the choices available to visitors. It also explains the separate role of search providers, analytics services, advertising networks, and government sites reached through outbound links.

Information You Submit

Search entries

A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy policy and terms govern what happens after the query is sent.

Messages

An email or contact message may include an address, name, and any facts the sender chooses to provide. Messages are retained as needed to answer the inquiry and manage related correspondence. They are not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.

Technical Data and Cookies

Ordinary server, security, and analytics processes may record technical facts during a page visit. Those facts can include:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device category and operating system;
  • pages viewed and time spent on them;
  • the referring page or site, when supplied; and
  • request dates and timestamps.

Cookie choices

Cookies and similar storage may help measure visits, remember a limited preference, or support advertising. Browser controls can reject or clear cookies. Some functions may behave differently when storage is blocked. Third parties that place their own cookies control those technologies under their policies.

How Information Is Used

Collected information supports a small set of operational purposes:

  • delivering pages reliably and improving load performance;
  • routing a submitted search to the selected partner service;
  • measuring which Madison Parish resources visitors use;
  • diagnosing security, display, and technical faults; and
  • supporting advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests.

These activities do not turn the site into the custodian of Madison Parish jail, court, or corrections records. Official records remain with their originating agencies under Louisiana law, including the Louisiana Public Records Law in R.S. 44:1 and following sections.

Other Websites

Links lead to sheriff pages, Louisiana DPS&C, courts, statutes, federal locators, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's own privacy policy governs. This notice does not control how an outside government office or company collects, stores, or discloses information.

Advertising partners may use their systems to measure visits across more than one site or select ads based on activity. Their tracking takes place under their policies and controls, not under a guarantee made here.

Data Recipients

Personal information is not sold by this site. Limited data may be available to parties that perform a stated function:

  • search providers that process the terms sent to their tools;
  • analytics services that measure traffic and performance;
  • advertising networks that deliver or assess advertisements; and
  • law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order.

Each recipient receives only the information involved in its role or required by law. A search partner may have a separate commercial relationship with the visitor if the visitor chooses its service.

Security Practices

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. No internet-connected system can be promised breach-proof. Visitors should avoid sending confidential identifiers, notification PINs, private medical facts, or other sensitive material that is not needed for a general inquiry.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may ask for reasonable action concerning personal data held by this site:

  • request a copy of personal information on file;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • request deletion when retention is not legally required; or
  • object to or opt out of certain processing.

These choices concern data held by this private site. A request about a Madison Parish booking, court file, or DPS&C record must go to that government custodian and remains subject to Louisiana records and expungement law.

Notice Updates

This privacy notice may change as services, vendors, or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after publication is subject to the current notice.
